Mark I - Skull head by Chofni1996 Mark I - Skull head by Chofni1996
This is a hard surface practice i made in zbrush 4r5. I didn't use any additional programs. This mech took me about 25 days to make and 1 day to make some corrections and changes to it.this piece was made from scratch and i didn't use any reference. The weapon was also made in zbrush using shadowbox and deformations.i'm new at 3d sculpting and i have zbrush for 3 months now Here are some tools in zbrush I used:

the extracting feature
the deformation feature
the clipping brushes
the shadowbox feature
and the masking feature

If anyone has questions feel free to ask,I will try to answer them the best i can, tips are always welcome.cheers.

3 months? But how long actually have you practice in 3D?.. And 3 months self-taught? or learning/internship in somewhere?

This was my first full Hardsurface model, at this time I had only been into the whole 3d world for 3months. And was using zbrush I think 2 months , in that period of time I was working on this thing . Watching tutorials on YouTube to learn what basic tools did and watching others model helped. I didn't went to an art school and still don't. So selftought until now, and teaching others stuff I use to make my artwork in zbrush. But if you are wondering about this moment I think something close to 12 months.

Oh, nice to know. So you went straight to Zb (not experience any other 3D apps?)... Anyway, months of self-taugh for works like this, I think it is very appreciable  (especially you didn't do any other thing related to 3D at all, as you said...) Great!! And you're still so young assume your nickname is your real age (1996?).. it's very big chance U'll be pretty good at these stuffs in no time :P

Yes correct, hadn't been into the whole 3d world, but when I started I went into zbrush. It was easy to learn, but that is probably because I didn't use any other modeling types. Some have trouble switching between different workflows.Yes it is my real name and age lol.Thank you for the kind words, I would love to do something with film, alot of people are into game design I noticed. May I ask if you want to do something with film and animation. What is the best program to use?

Well, I'm just a regular guy who works in 3d archviz, so my advice about your question (about movie/film) maybe not that good. As I know (mostly read/search infomation), for movies those artist mainly use Maya, also Max... but seems Maya is more frequently use in movies.
